To make it easier for you, me have jotted down the summary of our three-month research on selecting the most suitable, high quality, and beautiful tiles for bath, shower, wash, and toilette areas:

1. Size of tile: Large sized tiles are visually attractive and on trend
2. Colour combination: Pure white, light cream, light silver, or slightly off-white
3. Shape of tile: Square shapes for floors, and rectangular or square shapes for walls
4. Effect and surface: Simple and plain marble or stone effect tiles are better and popular
5. Tile Material: Ceramic porcelain as they are waterproof, slip-resistant, easier to clean, long-lasting, and heavy

Interior design consultant Corey Willis (2016) recently affirmed the notion that a substantial majority of bathrooms are designed with a basic white tile but adding beautiful tiles that are similar to natural water shades will bring a "wow factor”. However, Corey Willis did mention that neutral colours are still a great touch for any bathroom.

This means, for example, you can select light silver and white but not gray and white if you want to create a peaceful environment.

Additionally, Europica Consultants has also revealed that light coloured floor and wall tiles will make your room look larger and airier. They have advised you to think about selecting white or light colours for your bath, tub, shower, and water-based rooms in your house, flat, company building, or store.
